The UHD48-EX230-K is an HDMI Matrix Extender featuring 4 inputs, 4 HDMI loop outputs, and 4 CAT outputs. It can extend all 4 inputs to displays up to 230 feet away from the transmitter. The device is HDMI 1.4 and HDCP 1.4 compliant, supporting video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz and 2K@60Hz and a video bandwidth of 18Gbps, with HDR10 , Dolby Vision, and HLG pass-through. It can downscale the resolution from 4K to 1080p for all outputs. HDMI audio pass-through of up to 7.1 channels of HD audio (LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio). The device offers advanced EDID management and CEC control. Power over Cable (PoC) functionality allows all receivers and the transmitter unit to be powered through a single power adapter. Control the unit via front panel buttons, IR remote, RS-232, LAN, or the WebGUI interface. Perfect for both personal and commercial use.

    You can extend the display devices up to 400 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.

    The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.

    If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.

    You can upgrade the firmware by connecting the PC & this device via RS-232 cable.

    Please note that this product only supports the CEC function between HDMI input & HDMI output 1.

    No, optical output doesn't supports CEC due to its limitations. CEC will work only with HDMI devices.

    HDBaseT is the technology used for long distance transmission of lossless signals, resulting extremely low latency & giving the best picture quality.

    In normal extenders, if you extend your signals up to some extend, the quality of the signals will degrade & you may find some latency issues. HDBaseT is the lastest standard which provides extending your signals to the longer distance without degrading the quality of the signals & with 0 latency.

    We recommend you using a shielded CAT6 cables for optimum performance.

    Our all the extenders supports IR Frequency & the devices using RF frequency will not be compatible with our products.

    The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
